If you have a wardrobe full of bright coloured tops, you will always have something to wear. I just love fun, fresh, bright colours. This is the time of year ( spring & summer)…you are going to see lots of bold prints and the most brilliant pop of colours.
For all my beautiful plus size ladies who tend to shy away from bold colours and print…(fear no more)… OK, LADIES, it can be done. It’s straightforward, and also an easy way to make a statement with minimal efforts. Try out lots of options and figure out what works well for your body type.
Such a bold statement in this GORGEOUS YELLOW top, which looked amazing against my skin tone. Super colourful and flattering, I love the detailing on the shoulders and the non-functioning buttons down the front, the fabric is very lightweight and airy… kept me feeling relaxed, fresh and comfortable.
Vast leg palazzo or culottes pants are must-have pies in your wardrobe for the spring and summer months. Its quite clear my obsessing with wide leg pants have escalated into something I’m not entirely sure what to call it… as I now have quite a collection,… colours from pinks, black, black and white stripes, black and coral stripes, reds and multiples in floral print …etc. (I can’t get enough)… I think they are so fun, very fashion forward, and it adds a little something extra to your outfit, and you look put together.
As I paired the black and white palazzo pants with the yellow top…I immediately fell in love… vertical strips direct attention away from your problem areas, for example, you might not feel too comfortable show your midsection, to direct attention away from that area,…try pulling your pants up a bit, this will create a high waisted look…and will give a smoother look. I also love how it flared out more toward the bottom,.. the free drippy look also adds movement to the fit.
To complete this look… I paired this fit with an open toe heeled mules…I wanted something you could easily slip on and off.
